Kentucky has miles of open roads and highways that wind up into the mountains, creating picturesque scenery and also potentially dangerous driving areas. On lists that rank states for dangerous driving, Kentucky often falls somewhere in the middle. While not the most dangerous state, certain roads exact a higher death toll than others.

Hands-free doesn’t mean distraction free

Cellphones would seem to be the most likely cause but they aren’t the only culprit.
